What's the Laguna Phuket International Marathon like?

Friendly, fun in the sun! The marathon course is postcard coastal Thailand , and takes in a typical Thai village market, a rubber plantation, beach and sea views as well as stretches along buffalo plowed rice fields before finishing in the resort of Laguna Phuket in the North West of the tropical island paradise.

The course

Each step of the 42.195km marathon course has been officially measured and is sanctioned by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races.

However, t here's a distance for everyone at Laguna Phuket International Marathon 2010. No matter what your fitness level is now, or what your aspirations are, there are FIVE great events on the same day to choose from:

42.195km – marathon (over 18)

21km - half marathon (over 16)

10.5km - run (over 12)

2km run (children only)

5km walk (all welcome)
